Made of Honor

On Thursday, Nikki and I had a shopping day. Chloe went along, Nikki's 3 month old daughter. She is the most smiley, sweet baby! We drug that poor baby everywhere, to Branson and back! Our last stop was at the Bridal stores in Springfield. Went to Karl's (where i got my dress), and then went to McDaniel's (where we got Nikki's wedding dress, and our bridesmaid dresses). We found a beautiful Tea Length, Strapless dress for Nikki at McDaniel's! It is Champange with and Ivory Band around the waist. It is a beautiful dress!! I'm very glad with my decision to only have one attendant. I have more clients tell me that they havent even spoken with several of their bridesmaids after the wedding. Thats just crazy to me. Nikki is my best friend, and a great person. I'm glad she will be a huge part of my wedding day! Chloe will be my "honorary flowergirl". She will only be 8 months at that time, so more than likely Nikki will carry her down the aisle. I'm getting excited!!

A Whole New World

Hi! I'm engaged, and new to blogging. So this is a whole new world to me! Tyler and I became engaged December 7, 2007! We are planning our wedding currently. The official wedding date is April 24, 2009! The majority of "planning" is underway! We took some amazing engagement pictures Sunday afternoon, we should be getting them back sometime this weekend hopefully! They are great pictures! It was quite the task to get Tyler to agree to this little 'photoshoot'! I also got the most important piece to the wedding yesterday, my DRESS!! My mom and I had quite the adventure finding this dress, needless to say I'm glad David's Bridal has horrible customer service, because we ended up walking out and went to Karl's Tuxedo. I tried on around 15 dresses, and the last dress I tried was the one. To make matters even better, it was discontinued and 50% off!! The dress fit me like a glove, it was meant to be. Thank God for Karl's Tuxedo yesterday!! I will have engagement pictures up soon!
